HSEQ Manager

Key accountabilities
Responsible for managing the HSEQ functions, in compliance with company’s requirements, standards and national rules and regulations;
Overall responsibility/ authority for all incidents and accident investigations;
Investigating and carrying out corrective actions related to safety and environmental issues;
Providing management system (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018) support, auditing, and ensure that audits are completed on schedule and that resultant action plans are implemented;
Manage, implement, verify and enhance the HSEQ policies, procedures, culture and employees` behavior;
Managing HSE team in the investigation and appraisal of HSE related incidents, facilitate investigations of all accidents and develop remedial actions to reduce HSE risk;
Responsible for maintaining quality certification for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ensuring compliance with periodic audits;
Responsible for implementing and enforcing an internal HSEQ audit schedule to ensure all offices are complying with the requirements of quality certification;
Maintain the management system and identify and implement initiatives to improve it, including all procedures, processes, safe systems of work, offering support and advice on Risk Assessments;
Advice, guide, support, promote awareness and coach all employees with the implementation of the company’s policies and procedures;
Ensure effective implementation of the HSEQ MS and continuous improvement of the organization’s performance;
Responsible to prepare periodical HSEQ statistics report, training plan and site inspection reports or by request;
Reporting and analysis of non-conformities, accidents and hazardous events and yearly analysis of all accidents, incidents, near miss reports and non-conformities and report to management;
Treat safety and environmental compliance as a top priority.
Skills & Experience
Master or Bachelor`s degree (preferable in a relevant field of study or experience and education in the technical and/or shipbuilding field) ;
5+ years’ experience in developing, managing and auditing HSEQ Management Systems within the offshore / shipping industry / oil and gas industry;
IMS Auditor Certification; Certification as IMS Internal Auditor on quality / environment / health and safety;
Good knowledge of HSEQ international standards and procedures;
Safety & Environment specific certifications is considered an advantage;
Experienced people manager with the ability to lead, coach and mentor teams;
Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people tactfully and effectively;
Systematic and careful in handling confidential, critical and technical data;
Good knowledge of risk and crisis management process;
Good communication skills;
Flexibility, initiative;
MS Office proficient user;
Good command of the English language (written/ spoken);
Romanian language native speaker.
